Nice stay in rural area
Location is good, nice views, many parking spaces. Nice old buildings. Food is good for dinner and brealfast. Staff helped us with everything we needed. Surroundings allow walk around on evening, watching golf players. Room was spacious.
Double room doesn't look like the one 9n pictures in booking. Probably such rooms are different in different buildings, but be prepared that what you get does not look like what you saw. Everything is probably the same, but different bed, interior, windows. Also the toilet seat was not very clean when we got in.

What was the highlight of Knistad Herrgård
Nice and cosy golf&hotel in the country side, 15 minutes away from Skövde.
Cosy main house, super staff. Excellent breakfast. Nice location.
The main building seats on top of a hill. It is an old classic wooden Swedish house built by a wealthy family a few centuries ago. It is well decorated and well thought and cosy. It’s the well decorated and cozy country-club, with plenty of rooms where you can regroup and still share the ambiance with the others house’s guests. This is where you will have your diner (haven’t tried but was told downtown it is good) and breakfast (tried: very good) and where you can meet, work, relax and chill. There are for other building, built to draw an allée, bordered with old trees and a view on the forest, the golf and the practice. In my cottage, my room was situated near the cottage’s main door. It was small, however functional and confortable but still quite noisy, as I could hear my neighbor snorting and the guest entering or leaving the cottage. Fortunately they weren’t much traffic and I’ve survived my neighbor
